Not finding it?

We publish the treatments we do regularly and can write about honestly. That leaves things out: treatments we do occasionally, combinations that only make sense for particular patients, and whatever we have started doing since this page was last updated.

So if you have read something, been recommended something, or simply have a concern you cannot find a page for — ask. It is a free consultation with a doctor, and the answer costs you nothing.

What you will get

• A straight answer on whether we offer it
• An honest one on whether it would help you — including when the evidence behind something you have read about is thinner than the article suggested
• A recommendation elsewhere if someone else would do it better. We would rather send you to the right place than sell you the nearest thing we have.
• Sometimes: nothing. Occasionally the right answer is that you do not need a treatment at all, and we will say so.
